In honor of National Compliment Day (24th January), we want the BEST backhanded compliment from our Facebook and Twitter followers.
A backhanded compliment is an insult that is disguised as a compliment. Some examples of backhanded compliments may be:
- "I did not expect you to ace that exam. Good for you."
- "That skirt makes you look far thinner."
- "I wish I could be as straightforward as you, but I always try to get along with everyone."
- "Your baby is so cute, she looks nothing like you."
The Prize
We’ll send a pack of putrefied shark to the person of your choice.
